Job Title: Administrative Assistant

General:

The Administrative Assistant in this position is responsible for providing day-to-day support activities to the Chief Financial Officer.
Specific:
• Accounting Data Entry
• Maintain Customer and Vendor accounts
• Upkeep and maintenance of the filing system
• ensure that office supplies are ordered and fully stocked
• Sort and distribute incoming mail
• Answer incoming telephone calls and direct as may be necessary
• Arrange for maintenance of office machines when needed

Background/Training:
• Time management skills, including preparation, execution and timely documentation of results.
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Effective use of MS Excel, Word, Power Point and Lotus Notes database applications.
• Ability to see well enough to use computer efficiently and read computer reports and correspondence
• Ability to communicate in fluent English with employees and other business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of classified information
